Dubai Fountain Show:
Make your own way to the meeting point for the lake ride and the Dubai Fountain Show. Hop on a traditional wooden boat known as an an ‘abra’ and cruise along the Dubai Fountain Lake with the Burj Khalifa as your backdrop.
The Dubai Fountain Show features a visual spectacle with 6,600 lights, 25 coloured projectors and 22,000 gallons of airborne water. See the water shoot up to remarkable heights as it performs to classical, contemporary and even Arabic music.
Cruise past some of the iconic Downtown Dubai monuments such as the Souk al Bahar, Dubai Mall and the Palace. Illuminated under the evening lights, Dubai skyline looks spectacular from the water.
After the 30-minute abra ride, you can make your own way back to the hotel or continue sightseeing on your own.

The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organised activity to reconfirm.
We booked through Isango for this trip as it had the fountain lake ride included with the Big Bus for two days. The Big Bus was an excellent way of getting around Dubai, the nearest stop being 6 minutes walk from our hotel. Free bottles of cold water were available on the Big Bus from a fridge just behind the driver, but were not advertised so you need to just help yourself. There was very little wait for the buses and always seats available. The Dubai mall itself was huge and we found a nice place to eat that was reasonable and good food whilst waiting until dark for the fountain show - Artisan burger. The boat trip on the lake to watch the fountains was an enjoyable extra but not essential to see the 3 minute display. The Big Bus stops running after 7pm and there is only one place to pick up a taxi in the mall (near the waterfall) however, the queue does move quickly. I would definitely use Isango in the future
